Wolves F.C Community Trust ‘s Head for Health Project celebrated another year of success for the project.  The sessions have been attended enthusiastically by HUB service users. To celebrate a tournament was held at the Wolves F.C accademy dome within Aldersley Stadium on Monday 25th of June. The day was a fitting testament to all the project is seeking to achieve.Teams were represented from Everton F.C and Stoke City F.C and two teams from Wolves F.C which included HUB service users.
After a tense group stage the two semi finals were, interestingly, both Wolves versus Everton.  Everton prevailed in both games to set up an all Merseyside final with Everton ‘B’ coming out on top.
But the main winner on the day was the beautiful game illustrating how sport,  including football, brings together people from many different cultures and backgrounds.
