Chess Competition

Well done to all of the competitors who made the event so compelling. Kasparov has rivals for 2012!!

Chess Final

Our Chess Tournament was won by Claudio after a fiercely competed final with Emil.  The standard of play was exceptionally high and the competition caught the imagination of our Service User’s.  Claudio’s hands were so astonishingly speedy that it was difficult to catch the event on an ordinary camera!

The game of chess transcends borders and cultures and was played in a great spirit.  Thanks to all who gave their time.

Wolves win trophy at last!

To celebrate the 1st anniversary of Wolves Community Trust’s ‘Head for Health’ Project, 2 service users from
St. George’s HUB, who had taken part in the scheme were invited to take part in a tournament.  The HUB represented Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C against other clubs from around the country, including Birmingham City  and Stoke City. Football has a way of breaking down many barriers and this proved to be the case as a fantastic day was had  by all.The final was a nailbiting affair with Wolves finally running out 3-2 winners.

Long live the beautiful game.
